Life Clubs Research
Since 2009 we've had three independent investigations looking into the positive benefits of Life Clubs workshops. All three studies provide validation of the Life Clubs model as a simple, successful and effective intervention in terms of psychological well-being, with statistically significant improvements found in areas such as positive mood, confidence, goal-setting and decision-making capabilities and quality of life.
In 2012 the most recent piece of independent research (Outcomes of group coaching in the Workplace) was carried out by an Occupational Psychology student for her MSc (we're delighted she got a distinction!). Thirty-three participants took place in a six-week Life Clubs series and twenty-eight formed part of a Control Group with no intervention.
Data was collected before the workshops, after the series of six and four weeks post completion of the workshops. Four of the statistically significant improvements are shown below (contact us for full results and dissertation) and indicate that a series of six Life Clubs workshops provide a sustainable impact, with 3:1 cost-benefit ratio and estimated ROI of up to 266%.
