What happens at a workshop
What's the best thing that happened to you today?
That's how we start each workshop. Not because we're sickeningly positive, but because you all know the worst thing that happened to you today and we want to open your mind to other possibilities.
Think sensible, logical and methodical, because that's what Life Clubs is. When Nina Grunfeld started Life Clubs in 2004 she wanted to introduce you to a clearer way of thinking so you could have clear choices in your thought processes. Each week you'll learn something new about you in the nicest possible way. Very privately, with a lot of fun and a bit of networking.
Of course we love it if you turn up every week because then you'll learn the most, but we want you to decide when you can come, so it's up to you how often and when you attend.
Each week the 90-minute workshop is different (click here for this month's workshop topics) and you'll have a different learning about yourself, but, in order to keep things clear (we said we were logical), the format of the workshop remains the same.
Tools we use: Balance Chart
Remember doing a dot-to-dot as a child? The Balance Chart, see below, is just the same only we use it like a compass so you can see if you are doing what you want to with your life. Have a go now. Scoring '10' means you're very satisfied in that area of your life, scoring '1' means you're not. Use it to see where to set your next goal.

Tools we use: Weekly Topic
There are 50 Life Clubs topics (a different one for every week of the year), each giving you practical tools and inspiration you can use for the rest of your life.
Tools we use: Lightbulb Moments
Throughout the 90 minutes you will have moments where something you've idly thought about yourself becomes real. These 'Ah ha' or Lightbulb Moments are a tool we use to accelerate your self-development.
Tools we use: Other People
Throughout the club you'll be working with others (in a constantly changing pair or small group) so you meet lots of new people - it's a great opportunity for making friends and work contacts. As one of our clubbers said: The interaction with other people gave me extra confidence which I didn't even realise I was lacking.
If, for whatever reason, you can't make it to Life Clubs one week, you can get a taster of the workshop on our weekly bulletin.
When can I start?
Nina, our founder, didn't want you to have to wait until January or March or September for a new course to start. She wanted you to come along whenever you wanted to. So, whether you are on a journey of self-improvement or want to overcome a particular niggle or blip, you're in control.
Life Clubs are open all year round, except between Christmas and the New Year and on bank holidays and we're proud to say that we are the only weekly self-improvement workshops, internationally, that you can decide when to start, how many workshops you attend, and how far you want to take your life - a bit like a buffet.
Each club is held at a different time, so to find out the details of a club near you go to Where?
What's the cost?
When Nina set up Life Clubs she wanted to make sure that it was accessible for all – young and old, rich and poor; and this is reflected in our prices.
Attending a weekly workshop works out at only £1.43 a day - less than a Big Mac, a pint or a tube ticket in London. Which of those makes you feel as good for as long?

How many workshops do I attend?
There are 50 workshops, each of them designed to be relevant to you, though you may feel some are more pertinent.
You'll get the most out of Life Clubs if you attend at least six workshops, preferably consecutively. But as Life Clubs was created for you, you can come and go as you please. Some of our Clubbers have been coming along for years as, even if you've done a workshop before, each time you do it you get a fresh insight.
Every tenth workshop you get:
1. A free 1-2-1 with your Host (a Life Check)
20 minutes with your Host that will focus entirely on you and how to best use what you've learnt about yourself at Life Clubs
2. A certificate to formalise your success
3. And, to celebrate your Life Check, every eleventh workshop is free.
