Week of 23rd August: Presenting Me

Presenting Me is a workshop on selling yourself through thinking consciously and using self-awareness effectively. This workshop allows you to explore your strengths through fun professional and social scenarios. This workshop also utilizes a proven three step technique for improving your self-presentation skills.

Outcomes:

  • Identifying strengths within yourself
  • Learning a three step approach to selling yourself
  • Building consciousness for your self-awareness through use of creative scenarios

Week of 30th August: Telling It Like It Is

Both positive and negative feedback can be very hard to give and to receive. When feedback works well, it can be a great tool for communication.  In this workshop you will learn that feedback requires a certain approach for maximum impact. You will practice the art of giving and receiving feedback by running your feedback through a series of proven steps.

Outcomes:

  • Gain awareness on how you currently give and receive feedback
  • Learn simple rules for giving negative feedback
  • Find out how to deliver positive feedback by removing yourself from the feedback

Week of 6th September: Streamlining

This workshop shows you how to get the most out of your day, because if you’re not in control of your time, you’re not in control of your life. We will look at reoccurring activities in your daily routine and how they can be streamlined to free up time. We also explore the five main time wasters and tips to effectively use time.

Outcomes:

  • Discover the five time “thieves” and how to avoid them
  • Learn a five step process to better maximize your time
  • Identify things you can do differently to change time wasting behaviour

Week of 13th September: Holding Your Dreams

To a certain extent, we all visualise negatively. In this workshop you discover how to use the positive side of visualisation, so that you focus on solutions, rather than problems. You'll see how easy it is to your creative and imaginative side to project into your future and see yourself improve in a chosen area.

Outcomes: 

  • Learn two proven styles for successful positive visualization
  • Identify an area in your life you want to improve
  • Understand how visualisation can help you surmount problems

Week of 20th September: Training Your Mind

Our thinking can sometimes stop us from achieving our goals. These 'blocks' are called negative affirmations. In this workshop you will learn how to turn these negative affirmations into positive ones. By changing your mindset from negative to positive you are giving yourself permission to create a better life for yourself. You will take an unconventional approach by analysing the advantages of negative affirmations, and once you have identified them, you create a plan to flip them into positives.

Outcomes:

  • Clearing your mind by listing your negative affirmations
  • Learn ten ways to flip negative affirmations into positive ones
  • Build awareness of how you “talk” to yourself

Week of 27th September: Is It What You Really Want?

Excess is anything that you overdo, and usually happens when you feel stressed. It can be obvious, like eating and drinking or worrying, or it can be something that would otherwise seem positive, like exercising and sleeping. This workshop focuses you on realising what the excess is replacing, and deciding what you really want.

Outcomes:

  • Analyse your existing emotions to understand what you really desire
  • Discover the things you are avoiding
  • Find out what you really want
